The Rally will officially commence at Queanbeyan on the Limestone Plains 12 Km South East of Canberra on Sunday afternoon 10th May. Queanbeyan is approx 297 km South West of Sydney and is on the junction of the Molonglo and Queanbeyan Rivers. The NSW club will leave Sydney on Sunday morning 10th May. The meeting point will be the usual location for Southbound journeys at the Caltex Service Station near the on ramp for the Hume Highway Expressway, just past the traffic lights on the corner of Glenfield Road at Crossroads. Interstate, Overseas and Country attendees are welcome to join us at the starting point or any point along the way.

The Queensgate Motel is the recommended motel accommodation and will be the Rally Headquarters. We have negotiated a discount and believe it is good value. It is a modern complex situated on the main approach road and on the outskirts of Queanbeyan and has all motel facilities. Motel rooms have colour television, phone and air con and can be double, twin, or family. It is centrally located near other accommodation and the assembly point for our morning departures. Alternative Motels are in the near vicinity and have the usual facilities.

The 2 Caravan Parks have vans, cabins with en-suite and also tent sites. Units are clean and comfortable and are set in neat and tidy grounds. Blankets are not supplied at Riverside and you are required to provide your own linen, (sheets and pillows) at both parks. Riverside is opposite the shopping Mall and on the river and Crestview is a short distance away.

Entrants are reminded that they are responsible for all accommodation costs. Children's costs refer to under 12 years.

Registration is from 5.00pm Sunday 10th May 2009
Some regalia will be available followed by an informal 'Welcome' and 'Get to Know You' dinner.

Monday we explore Queanbeyan at your leisure in the morning and position our cars on the park area for the Concours judging and photos. A chance for those not wishing to stay with the cars to explore the town and walk the 'Heritage Trail'. Evening meal will be in Queanbeyan.

Tuesday we board the coaches to take us to Canberra for a tour of the various venues, a lakeside drive and look at some of the Embassies. This will avoid the hassle of driving and parking in busy Canberra and consequent 'losing' of cars from the convoy. It will also allow you plenty of time to view the venues in full. We then return to Queanbeyan in the afternoon in plenty of time to do things and get ready for the evening meal.

Wednesday we head off to historic Bungendore where the ladies of the CWA will serve us morning tea and we will have plenty of time to wander about the town so take your camera. We then get back on the road again and travel on to Braidwood, another famous historic town. Lunch will be provided by the local CWA ladies and you can explore the delights of this great country town. We then return at your leisure to Queanbeyan for the evening meal.

Thursday we board our coaches again to complete our tour of the venues and drives in and around Canberra. We will return to Queanbeyan in plenty of time for you to get ready for the official dinner and presentation of awards and prizes. This will be held in the Queanbeyan Bowling Club.

Friday is farewell for another two years and members of the local Lions club will provide us with enough energy to see us on our way as we all say our goodbyes to our overseas, interstate and country friends till next time and get set for the journey home.

Join us for this adventure!!
